Privacy Policy
Last updated 2026-10-14
This policy explains what Event Ticketing collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Account data
When you create an account, we store your email address and authentication details to identify you and secure your account.
Tickets
When you buy tickets, we store your name, email address and the tickets you bought, so we can send your ticket codes and check you in. Your card is handled by Stripe.
Roles
If you are given a role such as admin, we store that role against your account, and the email address an admin invite was sent to.
Event RSVPs
When you RSVP, we store your name, email address and how many guests you are bringing, so the organiser knows who is coming.
Usage data
To see how many people visit Event Ticketing and what they use, two small things are kept in your browser: a random id with no name attached, so repeat visits count as one person rather than several; and, if you arrived from a tagged link, where you came from.
This stays in Event Ticketing's own database. It is not shared with any other company, and it is never used to identify you personally.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight to them; we never see or store your full card number.
Services that handle data for us
We use a small number of outside services to run Event Ticketing. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Stripe (card payments)
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else for advertising.
Your rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export the data described above, and to object to certain uses of it. Get in touch using the details below to make a request, and we will reply as soon as we can.
